Design

Very rarely does one get an assignment that involves the use of more than one aspects of design. As a graphic designer, it means that mostly I will have to design, and perhaps do the photography too (for an ad or brochure). Or sometimes, use my own illustration along with designing the book jacket. With this client- Saffron Summer, a restaurant in London, I got a chance to use my painting skills too.

The assignment started with a name and logo design. Then the usual stuff- stationery, launch invite, and even 2 paintings for the restaurant. I naturally decided to synergise them with the name and the colour scheme of the logo- in this case, using the motif of the paisley.
